I specialize in couples therapy. People have an innate need to attach to others in their lives. We learn this as children, some of us learned how to attach in a healthy way, while others were not so lucky. As we learn to trust our significant other in life, we can find happiness in each other. This will lead to a safe and healthy relationship.

Are you experiencing a lack of connection and /or trust within your relationship? Do you feel you struggle to understand your significant other? I love to work with couples in marriage and family therapy. I believe that as we live our lives some of us have a hard time expressing our true selves. This is something we learn to do as we learn to trust our loved ones. As we learn to feel safe with each other in a family, we learn to open up and turn to each other. When we turn to each other and grow confident within the relationship. In doing couples therapy we learn to express our true selves. I know that family and loved ones are an important part of our mental and social health.
About Me
Who I am
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate. I received my BA from Purdue University in Human development and family sciences, with a minor in psychology, and my MA from Pacific Lutheran University in Marriage and Family Therapy. I enjoy working with adolescents, adults, and couples with a wide range of concerns including anxiety, trauma, depression, infidelity, and parenting issues.
People can have a hard time
I believe life can be very hard for people, for this reason or that reason. People can learn to have faith in others through increasing self-confidence and creating a healthy attachment to someone in their lives. If that be a partner or other individual, it can be done with Marriage counseling. One of my favorite sayings is, "In life, we experience two or three different and important relationships and they are usually with the same person." It is amazing how this new life can start with just a little marriage and family therapy.

We accept Health Savings Account debit cards, credit cards, and cash. We are currently not paneled with health insurance companies. However, many health insurance plans reimburse for counseling or therapy expenses. We will provide you with a detailed receipt (super bill) of your sessions to assist you in obtaining reimbursement from your healthcare insurer. Please note that not all insurance companies reimburse for out-of-network services. Please contact your insurer prior to starting therapy regarding their policies about reimbursement rates and availability
